about julie
I do SEO in a way that makes most people say…I wish I’d met you sooner.
You’re in the right place if you like details being explained in both industry terms and plain language, genuine care about your business, and the kind of work that holds up over time.
Yes, I spent 12 years in nursing before I made the jump to SEO.
In critical care, you don’t look at one number. Heart rate or blood pressure alone tells you nothing. It’s the whole picture over time that tells you whether your patient is actually okay or if you made a decision that’s going to cause issues.
That’s the same way I look at a business. Your rankings alone tell me nothing. It’s how all of it works together that tells me what’s actually going on.
I started in Pinterest and quickly pivoted once I realized how much I liked SEO, the technical side, and how search works and connects across platforms. Now I get inside people’s businesses and websites and show them all the ways they can tweak, adjust, and improve to show up better in search.

I’m also a mom of two, which means I’ve negotiated with people who have absolutely zero logic or reasoning skills. Your current business problem? No worries. I’ve had harder mornings.
SEO isn’t just your website, and most of what’s preventing your growth isn’t just a lack of blogs.
Search engines read your full website AND your Google Business Profile. Your content AND your local citations. Your social media AND your Pinterest. Agentic search is looking for consistent credibility signals across the web. When those things work together, search strategy works. It’s the way the internet is shifting, and your authority now depends on a lot more than just blogs.
That’s why I look at so many moving parts and pieces.
Based north of Pittsburgh. Working everywhere.
Locally grown in the Sarver-Freeport area north of Pittsburgh, and very invested in the local business community. As a third generation entrepreneur, I want to see your success just as much as you do!
I work with online brands globally including coaches, course creators, and content-driven businesses who want to grow through search.
The non-SEO stuff.
When I’m not in someone’s website, I’m probably in my garden, on the water, or camping somewhere with my family.
I genuinely like marketing, which I realize is a weird thing for a marketing person to say. I’ll scroll social media for fun because I’m not depending on it to grow my own business.
The point is, I have a life outside this work, and you do too. That’s why you need SEO.
Ways we can work together
SEO Health Audit
A full independent review of your site and digital presence before you invest in anything else. Every page reviewed, every gap identified — with a clear priority order and a hiring guide so you know how to evaluate anyone you bring in after.
Project-based SEO work
Focused, scoped work on a specific area — technical foundation, local presence, content strategy, or a full-site build from the ground up. No ongoing retainer required.
Ongoing SEO partnership
For businesses who want consistent, compounding growth over time. A longer relationship built on a clear strategy — not a monthly plan that keeps the lights on but doesn’t build toward anything.
Pinterest + search visibility
For online brands where Pinterest is a meaningful part of the picture. Pinterest and search talk to each other more than most people realize — and when they’re aligned, both perform better through synergistic efforts.

Listen, if you want to know about your discoverability, just start with the audit.
It gives you a full, independent picture of your site and digital presence which will go over every issue and opportunity I find, and then it’ll give you a clear roadmap so you know what your next move is.
The audit will show you exactly where to go next, and how to make sure you do it right.
Local businesses and online brands.
Both.
Local SEO and online brand SEO are two completely different strategies, and I genuinely love the variety. One day, I’m deep in Google Business Profile optimization for a local business in western PA. Next, I’m mapping content clusters for a course creator. The shift keeps the work interesting and keeps me sharp.
The only people I’m not the right fit for are folks who need instant gratification from search. SEO is a long game. If you’re here, you probably already know that!
